The highly successful Victoria’s Journey of Remembrance roadshow concluded in 2016 after two years of touring across Victoria and reaching over 35,000 people. The roadshow included storytelling, live theatre performances, video, guest speakers and interactive content and encouraged participants to discover personal connections with the First World War. As part of the Roadshow, the Victoria Remembers Resource Pack was created to provide further education about Victoria’s involvement in World War One and encourage communities to get involved. This pack can now be downloaded via the links below to enjoy and share at home. It includes World War One History, Victoria’s VC Recipients and a Community Resource Guide to help plan, promote and deliver a commemorative event.
A new roadshow aimed at primary school students Messenger Dogs – Tales of WWI is currently travelling across Victoria. Learn more about the free Messenger Dogs roadshow and make a booking.
